LarisVisored

a system to communicate, control and manage

The current availability of transducers of every type at a low cost also makes it possible to respond almost to all the needs of verification and control of industrial, domotic and professional processes. The basic problem is to remotely take the information gathered and get the commands necessary to correct and govern the remote processes that are being observed. To achieve all this, considerable plant and computerization costs must be faced. The LarisVisored system is the effective and economic answer to the problem

The system

LarisVisored is a scalable system created to manage the data of civil and industrial control processes. The WiFi component allows the widespread distribution of data collection and control devices without having to provide plant engineering works that are not only expensive but sometimes not feasible, especially in historic buildings or in industrial sites and applications for which it becomes prohibitive to install ducts , pipes and everything you need to make a traditional control and command circuit.

The LarisVisored system must be imagined as an information pyramid based on which the data collection systems are arranged and at the top is a gateway capable of managing the process internally and communicating with the outside world through a cloud application that guarantees the user to connect remotely to systems without ever losing their privacy.

The RCU is the Gateway

To transfer data from the base (level 1) to the top (level 3) there is an intermediate level: the level of local collection of information (level 2).

Level 2 is represented by the LSV RCU Gateway. LSV RCU is equipped with communications interfaces that allow it to receive data from level 1, to store it and process it to send it to level 3.

Communications between level 1 and the LSV RCU are ensured by the presence, on both devices, of the WiFi module or by an ethernet connection via wire.

The RCU can thus manage all the field devices by splitting the processing load: the level 1 field devices must collect the current data or operate the actuators and when interrogated by the RCU, they send the data they have collected;

the RCU, having received the data from the level 1 devices, verifies the current values and verifies whether or not there are alarms or the exceeding of guard values based on the configurations received by the level 3 system.

The RCU is equipped, towards level 3, with an RJ45 port for connection to the local LAN and via router to exit to the XDSL connections thus reaching remote users connected via: PC, teblet or smartphone

In automotive or stationary applications where a backup connection is required on the RCU there is a GSM module for connections to level 3 via GPRS.

L’RCU può gestire così tutti i dispositivi di campo suddividendosi il carico elaborativo: i dispositivi di campo di livello 1 debbono raccogliere i dati correnti o azionare gli attuatori e quando interrogati dall’RCU, inviano i dati da loro raccolti;
